Brazil Natural Mantequiera - 250g

This coffee originates from the Mantiqueira de Minas region in southeastern Brazil, an officially recognized Denomination of Origin known for its mountainous terrain and smallholder farms. The coffee is produced by farmers affiliated with regional cooperatives and exported through Sucafina’s Brazil program, which focuses on traceability, quality control, and long-term producer partnerships. The variety is Yellow Bourbon, a naturally occurring Bourbon mutation widely planted in Brazil.

The coffee is processed using the natural (dry) method, where whole coffee cherries are dried intact before milling. This processing approach is traditional in Brazil and is supported by the region’s dry climate and raised-bed or patio drying systems. Mantiqueira de Minas coffees are harvested mechanically or selectively by hand depending on farm size and elevation, and are typically prepared to meet specialty-grade export standards.
